This 2023 Edition of ‘Pin-Up Girls’ opens with “Keep Your Hands Off My Baby” by Little Eva, a song composed by the golden songwriters duo Carole King and Gerry Goffin. Second two tracks are LaVern Baker songs; “How Can You Leave A Man Like This” performed by Ella Mae Morse, a Texas-born white singer who knocked everyone out with her hip, black-inflected vocals and “I Cried A Tear” by LaVern herself. Julie London perform “Days Of Wine And Roses” from Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer (who co-founded Capitol Records). The final track is a cover from Bobby Darin’s multi-million seller “Dream Lover,” “J'ai Rêvé” performed by the French icon Dalida.
