Lightnin' Slim, born Otis Hicks in St. Louis, Louisiana circa 1913, was a pivotal figure in the Louisiana blues scene. 2024 marks 50 years since the passing of Lightnin' Slim (in 1974) and in honor of his life and the lasting impact he made on Southern blues music, "High and Low Down" will be reissued on heavyweight colour edition vinyl with bonus tracks.
