Description
Released on 9th June 1978 Some Girls was the 14th studio album by the Rolling Stones and the first with Ronnie Wood as a full member of the band. The original cover was printed in several different versions with pastel or bright coloured horizontal bands and was die-cut with peep holes so that the faces of the band members and several female celebrities pictured on the inner sleeve showed through. Shortly after the initial release, the original cover was withdrawn due to legal issues and a newly designed inner sleeve without the celebrity faces was issued. Other later releases were made without peep holes and with hand-drawn sketches on the cover.
